Belchenko Law obtained victory on behalf of a local distributor of aircraft parts and equipment, 111Repair, in the client’s dispute with a private Venezuelan airline, Albatros Airlines.
111Repair initiated arbitration proceedings against the airline for failure to repay certain funds provided to the airline to finance an aircraft lease, and for failure to pay for aircraft parts and equipment. The claim was administered pursuant to the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association in accordance with Florida law.
The distributor prevailed on all of its claims in arbitration. The Circuit Court Judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, Lisa S. Walsh, confirmed the arbitrator’s decision and the arbitration award against the airline in all respects.
Belchenko Law aims to resolve its clients’ disputes as quickly and cost-effectively as possible, considering the future financial impact of the dispute and the cost of its resolution to a client.
